AKUT Umweltschutz Ingenieure Burkard und Partner (AKUT Environmental Engineers Burkard & Partner) was founded in 1988 and covers the entire spectrum of engineering services from designing, planning, tendering, supervision, invoicing as well as monitoring of set up and the complete operational management. It has registered as partnership under German law in Berlin.
Main fields of activity are sanitation systems, wastewater treatment plants, biogas production and HVTA (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) for industrial and residential buildings.
Since 1998 AKUT is involved in international development cooperation. AKUT focuses on institutional strengthening of drinking water and sanitation service providers, water and wastewater associations, construction of water and waste water facilities and continuous education and training of their local staff (capacity building). We provide services the fields of economics, water losses, planning and operation of facilities, customer register and support, accounting, human resources development, investment planning, management of the environment and public relations.
