7. Recommended reading: Construction of bench style UDDTs
A new publication from Rotaria del Peru SAC has been published in English and Spanish which we would like to recommend for reading: "Construction of bench style double vault urine diversion toilet and alternatives" and in Spanish "Opciones de construcción de Baños Secos con Eco-Sanitarios de Rotária".
This is an excellent construction manual for bench style UDDTs. When using the bench design the user sits directly on the vault. This has the advantage of reducing the required number of stairs.
